BRENDA DI QUIÑONES BARRENECHEA

Peruvian multi-disciplinarian artist and philanthropist. Brenda Di earned a BGS degree in Film and Media,with Theatre and Psychology minors at The University of Kansas; an MFA in Film Producing at the New York Film Academy in Burbank; and a certificate of Business and Management in the Entertainment Industry at UCLA Extension. 

 

Based in Los Angeles, California, Brenda Di has been working for the entertainment industry for eight years. She has directed, written and produced music videos, short and feature films, and has worked on the set of various films and music video projects as an editor, animator, assistant camera, gaffer, grip and production assistant. 

 

Moreover, she took on the role of Guest Coordinator at the Guadalajara Film Festival in Los Angeles; was given the opportunity to work for Avatar Entertainment as an assistant manager and a talent manager; and assumed the position of Head of Development Foreign Film at Mighty Aphrodite Pictures.​

 

Currently, Brenda Di is creating and collaborating on artistic projects in fields of Film, T.V., Theatre, Photography, Music, New Media and Virtual Reality. She is passionate about her work with her creative partner and soul sister on building a non-profit organization that focuses on aiding artists in crisis. Their goal is to provide a support system, creating events focused on various themes that assist their personal and career development.
